"Medium yellow gold, quince jelly in the nose, floral notes, strawberry jam, powerful on the palate without being powerful, good balance, very calm, fine citrus touch, good length, gastronomic wine, pleasant fruit on the finish. fresh reverberation. 92 Points."
Falstaff Magazin (2006)

"Furmint and Hárslevelu blend from the village of Mád. Very sweet and round and charming. Great gentle texture and explosive sweetness balanced by great but not searing acidity. Mmmm. Marmalade in a nice way. Pure pleasure. 18.5/20 points."
Jancis Robinson

"Opened a bottle alongside the 2006 SQN Noble Man. Liked the Noble Man slightly better. 2nd time I have had this. This wine is not imported into the US. My wife and i bought it in Hungary when we visited Istvan Szepsy. This wine was very lively and lithe. Notes of orange blossom, honey and tropical fruit notes. Piercing acidity to balance the sweetness. Long, round finish. Still a baby at 10 years old and will last another 20+."
